I was recently given the opportunity to lecture at the Atlanta campus of the Savannah College of Art and Design. SCAD, for short. The day of my lecture, May 8th, was action packed. Meeting with graduate sculpture students in the morning, an afternoon facilities tour and my 6 p.m. lecture followed by a reception and dinner with board members and staff.
The proceeding day was just as busy. Morning at Atlanta’s High Museum of Art with a full afternoon of meeting designers at the Jerry Pair showroom as part of “Design ADAC,” (the Atlanta Decorative Arts Center).
Friday provided an early flight back to Kansas City capping my excellent Atlanta trip proving “work = play” in many cases.
