As a favorite theme found in art history, “the dancer” has been an inspiration for Tom Corbin’s bronze sculpture for over two decades. The movement, composition and grace of the figure are qualities that he finds particularly intriguing. Corbin’s fascination with Edgar Degas’ sculptures and paintings served as the early stimulus for his dancers. Please enjoy these examples of works by “The Greats” from The Renaissance to today and new works by our own Tom Corbin.
